What To Do If You’re Worried

If you have any concerns about a child’s safety or welfare, please follow the steps below. Every concern is treated seriously.

Speak to the Coach or Manager

Many concerns can be resolved quickly by speaking directly to the coach or team manager.

Contact the Safeguarding Officer

If the concern involves safeguarding, behaviour or welfare, contact the club safeguarding officer.

Escalate to The FA

If required, concerns can be escalated to your County FA or The FA Safeguarding Team.

2. Reporting a Concern

If you have a concern about a child’s welfare, or the behaviour of an adult towards a child, please contact our Safeguarding Officer immediately. In an emergency where a child is at immediate risk, always dial 999.
